Olivet Baptist Church stands on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halq'eméylem speaking peoples. We are guests on this land where we gather and worship and we are grateful for those who have lived here for centuries and for their stewardship of this land. As followers of Christ, we understand our calling to love our neighbours and continue to build relationships and pursue reconciliation with the people whose lands we are on.
