Good morning and thank you for joining us today.

Below you will see that all the videos have been embedded into this page to make it easier for the user.  Please think of how they are placed as your order of worship.  You'll start with prayer and scripture reading and then have a chance to fill out your "green card." Even if you don't have any prayer requests, just let us know you joined us this morning.  Next there is a chance to give to Olivet in any way you are able. After that watch all the video clips in the order that was carefully chosen by Pastor Laura.

May you feel God's presence this morning as you join us in worship.

All Creatures of our God and King

Opening Prayer of Thanksgiving
by Lincoln Tatem

O God, Giver of all good gifts, we thank You for this universe, our great home, for its mind-boggling vastness and its riches, for the diversity of life which teems upon it, and of which we are a part:

For arching sky and blessed wind, for driving clouds and constellations of stars.

We thank You for the blessings that sustain us:

For the air we breathe, for the food we eat, for the clothes we wear, for the roofs that protect us, and for the work by which we are sustained.

We thank you for Your work in our lives:

For fresh wisdom, insight and creativity, for healing of bodies, and minds, and hearts, and relationships, for Your continuing work of salvation, and the animation of our spirits by Yours.

We thank You for the people around us:

For the families you have placed us in, for our friends, for the fellowship of all believers, even for the people we find it most difficult to love, who also bear your image.

We thank You for the senses that enrich our existence:

For the sight of a soaring bird and a sunset on the mountains; for the sound of laughter and beautiful music; for the smell of flowers and of freshly-baked bread; for the taste of cool water, and fresh fruit; for the touch of another hand in fellowship.

Grant us, we pray, a heart wide open to all this joy and beauty, and save our souls from being so steeped in care, or so darkened by gluttony and greed, or so clouded by self-righteousness, entitlement, and pride that we pass by heedless and unseeing when even the thorn-bush by the wayside is aflame with the glory of God.
